I strongly support Ted Hsu as the nominee for Kingston. This man of quiet integrity is intelligent, thoughtful and kind--wonderful qualities to bring in the service of his constituents. As former MP for Kingston and the Islands, he was effective in helping respond to the drug shortage problem that was and still is raging in Canada, now exacerbated by COVID-19. He convinced members of the House of Commons to meet with physicians, pharmacists, and pharma industry to discuss its causes and solutions, and he was successful in promoting awareness through television, radio and the formation of my activist website, which is still going a decade later (http://www.canadadrugshortage.com). As a scientist, he understands the imperative of evidence-based decision making in health care, environment, education, and all our endeavours.
